On 15 June 2022, our local MP Catherine West joined Haringey CLP Health & Care group in hosting a meeting in Parliament with the Shadow Health Minister, Andrew Gwynne, for Labour Party members and invited members of health and related campaigning groups . Also attending were Dr Jessica Allen, Deputy Director, Institute of Health Equity, UCL, co-author of Marmot Review 10 Years On; Cllr Lucia Das Neves, Haringey’s Cabinet Member for Health, Social Care & Well-Being and Dr John Robson, GP Tower Hamlets & Clinical Reader  in Primary Care Research & Development, Wolfson Institute of Population Health, QMUL

We discussed growing health inequalities and the role of  a future Labour government, local authorities and primary care in tackling them.
