Hornsey & Wood Green CLP & Haringey Keep Our NHS Public welcome all members to this Zoom meeting on Thursday 4 March at 7pm.
You can access the Zoom link from your email Social Care Zoom meeting.
Social care is at breaking point – and Covid 19 highlighted its Cinderella status, which the government’s latest announcements do nothing to improve. It could be so different – as other countries have proved – it doesn’t cost the earth, and Labour needs to make the case – for care as social infrastructure investment – good for people, and good for the economy.
Join the panel to debate how to:
- achieve a properly funded Care service
- improve its care, quality and availability
- make caring a good career
- and consider next steps for Labour councils and the national party
