Labour made huge strides in Hornsey and Wood Green in the local elections on Thursday 22 May - taking 12 seats from the Lib Dem opposition.
Labour now has 48 out of 57 seats on Haringey Council - having gained two seats from the Lib Dems in Harringay ward in Tottenham as well.
The party took all three seats in Stroud Green and Hornsey wards, two seats each in Crouch End and Alexandra wards, and one each in Muswell Hill and Fortis Green. Highgate is now the only ward in the borough controlled entirely by the Lib Dems.
Haringey Labour leader Claire Kober said:
"This was a fantastic result for us - thank you to everyone in the borough who put their trust in us and our vision of one borough, one future, over the next four years.
"We want to see the best for all the people of Haringey and all of us will be working hard for that."
