Haringey LCF Housing Policy Forum

Participants include: Cllr Alan Strickland (Cabinet member for Housing and Regeneration, Haringey), Steve Bullock (Housing lead, London Councils, and Mayor of Lewisham), Sarah Ebanja (invited, Chair, Newlon Housing Trust),  Seb Klier (London Campaigns Manager, Generation Rent), Dr Jane Lewis,London Metropolitan University.

 This policy forum is organised by the Haringey Labour Local Campaign Forum and aims to examine issues around housing policy in London from a Haringey and outside perspective, conditions in the private rented sector, affordability, tackling homelessness, and the contribution of housing associations. Panel presentations in the morning (with Q&As), will be followed by discussion groups to consider specific issues. The HDV proposals will be in the minds of many Haringey members and there will be a specific session devoted to this with Cllr Strickland in the afternoon. 

The cost: a voluntary recommended contribution of £5 to cover costs. A light lunch will be available for £3.  The venue is accessible for wheelchair users. Car parking on the site is limited, and priority will be given to those with disabilities, and speakers.
