Apply to be a Labour Party Councillor

Application for consideration as a potential Labour candidate for the 2018 council elections

You will have received an email from the Procedures Secretary, Liz Santry, inviting members to nominate themselves as potential candidates for Labour in the 2018 council elections.

If you wish to apply,you can download the supporting information, including the application and declarations form,  NEC guidance on selections, code of conduct and a job description for being a councillor below.

Application documents

The Labour Party is committed to promoting equality. So that we can monitor the diversity of applicants and candidates, we hope you will download and complete the optional Equality Monitoring Form.

 Please read the documents and return the completed application form and signed declaration (and the optional equality EO monitoring) to Liz Santry at haringeylcf@gmail.com no later than end Monday 31 July. Please let your Branch know that you have applied.

This process is managed by Haringey Local Campaign Forum (LCF), a joint body consisting of representatives from the two constituency parties - Hornsey & Wood Green and Tottenham – the Labour Group and the Cooperative Party.
