It's the first Saturday of the month, and the weekend of International Women's Day.
First, join our monthly, all-women canvass, this time in the Priory Road area. Meet at 10.30 at Ten Café/Bar at the Nightingale Road end of Priory Road. Lunch after at Ten Café-Bar for those who would like to join us.
Then, in the evening, come to our screening of 'The Cruel Cut' at the Arthouse in Crouch End - a documentary showing young activist Leyla Hussein's journey to get FGM on to the government's agenda. The screening will be followed by a Q and A with Catherine West, Seema Malhotra MP and FGM activitist Sarian Karim, who also appears in the film. Tickets are selling now on http://www.arthousecrouchend.co.uk/. It's a small cinema so a good idea to book.
